Toni Townes-Whitley assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Inc., on October 2, 2023. As part of her new responsibilities, Ms. Townes-Whitley will also become a member of the SAIC Board of Directors. SAIC, a company with annual revenues totaling $6.9 billion and a workforce of approximately 24,000 employees, specializes in providing a wide array of engineering, digital, artificial intelligence, and mission services across the defense, space, civilian, and intelligence markets.

Ms. Townes-Whitley possesses a distinguished track record marked by a consistent history of achieving strong financial results for enterprises while cultivating an inclusive culture that promotes entrepreneurship and high-performance standards. In her previous position as President of U.S. Regulated Industries at Microsoft, she oversaw the public sector and regulated commercial industries, including education, financial services, government, and healthcare, managing an impressive $16 billion in annual revenue.

Before joining Microsoft, Ms. Townes-Whitley served as the President of CGI Federal, where she oversaw a portfolio exceeding $1 billion and led a workforce of 6,600 employees, delivering enhanced value to various U.S. Government sectors, including civilian, defense, and intelligence. Earlier in her career, Toni held various management positions at Unisys Corporation, where she spearheaded global and commercial-sector system integration and the Federal Civilian group, achieving a remarkable 500 percent growth in revenue and a doubling of profitability.

Toni Townes-Whitley is a globally recognized technology leader and currently serves as an Independent Director/Trustee on four prominent boards: Nasdaq, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Partnership for Public Service, and the Princeton Faith & Work Initiative. She is also a guest lecturer at Stanford and Princeton Universities, where she shares her expertise on technology ethics and entrepreneurship within the public sector.

She earned her bachelor's degree in public policy and economics from Princeton University’s School of Public & International Affairs (SPIA) and holds certifications from Wharton Executive Education, New York University, and the Performance Management Institute.

Ms. Townes-Whitley's outstanding contributions have garnered recognition across multiple industries, resulting in numerous prestigious awards, such as Fortune’s Most Powerful Women: Ones to Watch, Women in Technology Leadership, Black Enterprise Top Executive, FedScoop Top50 for Industry Leadership, the 2020 IES Lifetime Achievement Award, NVTC Tech 100 Executive, Federal 100 Industry Eagle Award, and the "Woman of the Year" honor from the Washington-based STEM for Her organization.

Beyond her board commitments, Ms. Townes-Whitley has maintained a longstanding advisory and fundraising role for the Women’s Center of Northern Virginia and has previously served as President and Board Chair of Women in Technology. Additionally, she remains a staunch supporter of the U.S. Peace Corps, where she volunteered as a village teacher in Gabon (Central Africa) for three years.
