Ann-Marie Campbell is senior executive vice president at The Home Depot. She oversees U.S stores and operations, both Canadian and Mexican divisions, and outside sales/service. Campbell leads 2,300+ stores and 400,000+ associates, driving sales for DIY and Pro customers. She reports to CEO Craig Menear.
Previously, Ms. Campbell was executive vice president for U.S. stores and international operations. She oversaw The Home Depot's U.S. divisions, alongside supply chain, merchandising, sourcing, and strategy for its Canadian and Mexican operations.
Ms. Campbell began her career with the company in 1985 as a cashier in South Florida. She learned her first lessons in retail from her grandmother in Jamaica, a successful retailer in her own right. And after more than 30 years with the company, Ms. Campbell brings a deep understanding of The Home Depot’s operations, culture and customers.
During her career at the company, she has served in a variety of positions, including store manager, district manager and regional vice president. She has also served as vice president of operations, vice president of merchandising and special orders, vice president of retail marketing and sales for Home Depot Direct, vice president of vendor services and, most recently, president of the Southern Division of The Home Depot.
In 2014 she established the Ann-Marie Campbell Scholarship for undergraduates at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at GSU.
In August 2014 she joined the Board of Directors of Potbelly Corporation, and in June 2015 she was appointed an Independent Director at Barnes & Noble. She serves on the advisory boards of the nonprofit Catalyst and J. Mack Robinson College of Business at GSU. She's a board member of the Metropolitan Atlanta chapter of the American Red Cross. In 2016, Fortune Magazine listed her among the top 20 most powerful women in business.
Ms. Campbell is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in business administration. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honour society, and the National Scholars Honour Society.
