Pamela Rucker

Pamela Rucker chairs the Technology Advisory Council for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, serves as a CIO Advisor for the CIO Executive Council, and teaches a professional development course at Harvard University entitled Leading Through Digital Disruption. 

She was previously Vice President, Information Technology, PSC from August 2005 to August 2010. In her role, she has responsibility for all IT governance, business applications, and IT shared services for the enterprise. Prior to joining PSC, Pamela worked in several industries managing enterprise initiatives for Fortune 500 firms. She has previously worked in leadership roles at JP Morgan Chase, IBM, GM, First Union and Nabisco. Over her career, she has also led initiatives for GE Capital, Dun & Bradstreet, GMAC and Cingular. She has a highly consultative approach, and has a track record of creating measurable results.

Pamela is a featured speaker at CIO events in the United States, Canada and Europe. Leveraging her practical experience, she’s provided executive education for numerous Fortune 500 firms, and has coached leaders at some of the world’s most recognizable brands and leading academic institutions, including Microsoft, NBC, Kaiser, Federal Reserve, Cisco and Chevron. Pamela chairs the Technology Advisory Council for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and serves as a CIO Advisor for the CIO Executive Council. She also runs an advisory services practice that focuses on the implications of digital, corporate reinvention, and delivering success in high-intensity cultures.

She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration concentrating in Management Systems from the University of Richmond, a master’s degree from Harvard University, and has completed professional programs at Rice University and Columbia University.
