Michelle Flowers Welch, is the founder and CEO of Flowers Communications Group, an independently-owned, multicultural communications agency based in Chicago since 1991. Ms. Flowers Welch says that when she got on the agency side of the business, she felt “at home” and she knew someday she would have her own company. Through motivation and drive, Flowers Welch turned her dream into a reality.

Ms. Flowers Welch is a 25 year veteran of the public relations business. She began her career in agency public relations at Golin/Harris Communications, one of the top PR firms in the country. She later pursued her desire to work in ethnic marketing at Burrell Communications Group and rose to senior vice president in three years.
