James Reynolds

James Reynolds Jr., also known as Jim, co-founded Loop Capital Markets, LLC in 1997 with a focus on enhancing client sensitivity rather than revolutionizing the industry.

Mr. Reynolds is responsible for all investment banking, trading, and institutional sales activities at the firm, drawing upon over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. Earlier in his career, he served as Assistant Vice President at Smith Barney, managing municipal sales. He then led sales in the Corporate and Institutional Client Group at Merrill Lynch, overseeing the municipal sales team in the Midwest, and established the Midwest Municipal Bond Sales desk at PaineWebber in Chicago.

In 1997, he joined forces with Albert Grace to establish Loop Capital Markets, LLC, where he continues to emphasize excellence in service and execution while assembling a team of top-tier professionals.

Mr. Reynolds holds a Masters of Management in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the AIMR in 1991 and holds series 3, 7, 24, 53, and 63 licenses.
