RS Information Systems, Inc. (RSIS), a premier federal systems integrator, provides advanced technical and business solutions in information technology, systems engineering, telecommunications, scientific support and management consulting. Based in McLean, Va., RSIS is the prime contractor on 90 contracts with defense, civilian and law enforcement agencies of the federal government.
In 2003, RSIS was awarded a $409 million systems integration contract with the Department of Energy, one of the largest professional services contracts ever awarded a small business by the federal government.
An African American-owned firm, RSIS' diverse professional talent base includes 65 percent minorities, women, veterans and handicapped individuals.
The company’s substantial portfolio of federal civilian agencies includes major contracts with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); Social Security Administration; Department of Labor’s Job Corps; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms; Department of Transportation, Department of Energy’s Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management (OCRWM) and Chicago Operations; and the Environmental Protection Agency.
In January 2008 it was acquired by Wyle. Now operates as Wyle Information Systems, LLC. No longer black owned!
