Who Will Be This Years Richest Black Person?

Today Forbes magazine will release its annual ranking of the world's richest billionaires. On last years list there were 6 black billionaires, how many will there be this year?

Last year Ethiopia's Mohammed Al Amoudi (Rank #43), was the richest black person in the world, with an estimated networth of $9 billion dollars. 

He was joined by Oprah Winfrey's (Rank #234) net worth was estimated to be $2.7 billion. 

Aliko Dangote (Rank #261), net worth was estimated to be $2.5 billion. 

Patrice Motsepe (Rank #559), who has the honour of being South Africa's first billionaire had a estimated net worth of $1.3 billion. 

Femi Otedola (Rank #601) who was new to last years billionaire ranking, With a net worth of $1.2 billion. 

Michael Lee-Chin's (Rank #701) net worth was estimated at $1 billion.

This year I would be very surprised if Mr. Lee-Chin is still on the list after the past year he had with the decline and sale of his Canadian mutual funds business.

I don't expect there to be much changes in the upper rankings of the billionaires list except maybe for Bill Gates reclaiming the top spot form his friend Warren Buffet. Mr. Buffet took the top spot from Gates last year after a 13 year back to back ownership of the worlds richest man title by Mr. Gates.
