Warm Spirit, Inc. Wins Black Enterprise Small Business Award

Created by BlackEntrepreneurProfiles.com

The company was named by Black Enterprise magazine as the winner of its Small Business Award. Warm Spirit was honored as the "Emerging Company of the Year" at the 11th annual "Black Enterprise" Entrepreneurs Conference, taking place last week in Dallas, Texas.

Nadine Thompson, CEO/President and Co-Founder of Warm Spirit, said, "It is with a great deal of pleasure and pride that I share this award with the staff and all of our consultants. To be recognized by such a media powerhouse as Black Enterprise is a tremendous honor and a powerfully affirming testament to the hard work of our Warm Spirit community."

Warm Spirit, founded in 1999, produces a comprehensive collection of nature-based beauty and self-care products, which are sold through its diverse group of independent consultants. The company reported income of nearly $15 million for 2005 and have projected sales for 2006 to be well over $20 million.

"I am so happy that Warm Spirit has been presented with this award," continued Thompson. "It is proof that our Warm Spirit vision--one that is focused on empowering entrepreneurs and providing individuals the opportunities for self-growth--is being seen and acknowledged by the leaders in the business world."

In the May issue of Black Enterprise, the magazine touted its nominees as "a group of entrepreneurs who were inspired to turn their innovative solutions into successful businesses," and to "recognize [those] businesses that have poised themselves for growth by carving out a special business niche or by adopting creative marketing techniques."

Thompson says the success of Warm Spirit is the realization of her vision to create quality products, empower people to put self- and health-care first, and to provide entrepreneurial opportunities for the company's consultants.
