Self-doubt can appear at any time, often causing procrastination, indecision, and can stop your forward momentum dead in its tracks.

Have you ever felt like the world is too much and you just want to (or perhaps do) pull the covers over your head and half-sleep in bed until nightfall, trying to avoid the feeling of hopelessness that seems insurmountable. You are not alone, business icons, superstar professional athletes, billionaires — it doesn’t matter how rich or how accomplished you are self-doubt still affects you and me.

Self doubt is nothing new. It's something we've all face. It’s an integral part of building anything remarkable, whether a business, a relationship, or a life.

Expanding your comfort zone and abilities comes with a cost: repeated self-doubt.

In a year where we see the first black president of the United States of America, an event most living American's never expected to see in their life time. A new level of hope has been given to people around the world. The physiological ceiling that many blacks had place on them selves has now disappeared.

Mr. Obama never had the greatest start but it's not how you start that matters, it's how you finish. Get over it and get on with it. Make 2009 your year to achieve your biggest goals.
