Sean Combs launch womens collection

The new Sean by Sean Combs women's fashion collection was launched Thursday at Bloomingdales in New York. The new clothing line by Sean “P.Diddy” Combs is aimed at the urban sophisticated woman who appreciates sleek yet romantic style. Combs has canceled the launch of his women's line on three previous  occasions.

The inaugural holiday collection is broken down into three groups: Natural Born Killers, a sexy, stealthy group designed in black and cobalt; Caramel Kiss, romantic group in sultry shades of cream, brown and camel, and Monaco, the resort collection focusing on summery sophisticated colors of tile blue, tangerine, khaki and white. All three groupings incorporate luxe fabric such as fox fur, cashmere, velvet and silk with a touch of denim and knits.

“I want women to come into my world,” says Diddy. “I want to show the diversity of this young, fun, sexy, sophisticated woman. This is the woman we aspire to have. This is the woman the Sean John man wants.”

Combs has choosen actress Penelope Cruz as the face for the line. She has appeared in a number of print adds with Combs for the new line.

The highly anticipated line will be found in fine department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdale’s as well as in specialty boutiques.
