Richest Black Women in Entertainment

Created by BlackEntrepreneurProfiles.com

Forbes magazine has released it's list of The 20 Richest Women In Entertainment. Topping the list is talk show host and the only black female billionaire, Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah whose net worth the magazine estimates at $1.5 billion, is one of three blacks on the list. The other black women on the list are Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson.

Mariah Carey is ranked 6th with a net worth of $225 million. Carey had an extraordinary comeback in 2005 with her Jermaine Dupri produced album, The Emancipation of Mimi. To date, the pop diva has sold 160 million albums.

Janet Jackson is rank 7th with a net worth of $150 million. Her Jermaine Dupri produced album, 20 Y.O., hardly made a blip on the charts. Janet has sold 50 million records worldwide with 10 No. 1 singles on Billboard's Hot 100. She begins her new tour in March.
