Radio One Sells Minneapolis Station
Radio One Inc. said it agreed to sell its KTTB-FM its only radio station in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Northern Lights Broadcasting LLC, a newly-formed company headed by general manager Steve Woodbury for about $28.0 million.
The which requires Federal Communications Commission approvaldeal is expected to close during the second half of 2007, the company said in a statement.
Radio One still owns 60 radio stations in 19 cities and programs a station for MX Satellite Radio. It also has a stake in cable channel TV One.
