Oprah Signs Record Breaking Book Deal
Billionaire talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, has sign a record breaking deal to write a new book about weight control.
Oprah will received an advance from publisher Simon & Schuster for a new fitness book that exceeds the previous record of $12 million given to former President Clinton for his autobiography, “My Life†in 2004.
The deal, said to be the biggest ever signed for a non-fiction work, was announced at the annual Book Expo America in Washington.
Oprah will and her personal trainer Bob Greene, will co-write the book to be published in January 2007.
The pair previously co-wrote 'Make the Connection: Ten Steps to a Better Body - And a Better Life' in 1996.
