Johnson Publishing Company, Inc. Awards $70 Million Multi-Year Contract Extension to RR Donnelley
Johnson Publishing Company, Inc., the world's largest black-owned publishing company has awarded a $70 million multi-year contract extension to R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company to provide all of the magazine printing, paper and logistics services; as well as components of the prepress needs for the Johnson Publishing Company's EBONY and JET magazines.
Linda Johnson Rice, President and Chief Executive Officer of Johnson Publishing Company, Inc. stated, "While we have only been doing business together for the past few years, we have been pleased with how quickly RR Donnelley has developed a deep understanding of our business requirements. They continue to be an effective partner in supporting our strategic business imperatives of subscriber and advertising growth. We are confident that in awarding RR Donnelley this contract extension we have made the right choice for our current and future needs."

JET, with a 10 million weekly readership, provides complete news coverage on African Americans in the United States and all over the world by giving African-Americans a national weekly magazine, from an African-American perspective, in a convenient, efficient pocket-size form.
