Jay-Z to Build Casino
Jay-Z is reported to have his sites set on building a Las Vegas casino, the New York Daily News reports.
Jay-Z wants to morph the 40/40 Club's low-key ambience into a full-scale gambling Xanadu, reports one knowledgeable source.
"He's definitely planning on it," the source told the Daily News' Chris Rovzar, adding that several meetings on the topic have taken place with investors who have worked with other gambling establishments.
"The 40/40 Club in Atlantic City has been doing great since it opened, and the one in New York is still booming. There's no reason not to expand."
Jay-Z and partners plan to open 40/40 Clubs in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Singapore.
