Jay Z expands 40/40 Club

Jay-Z is to be nearly doubling the size of his Flatiron District club 40/40.

The New York Post reports that according  broker James Buslik of Adams & Co., Jay-Z is adding 2,000 square feet to the ground floor lounge area to create a 5,000-square-foot spread and is adding 3,000 square feet to the existing 2,500 in the mezzanine to expand the number of private rooms.

The post also goes on to say than on the advice of Bruce Ratner, his partner in the NBA's New Jersey Nets, Jay hired S.M. Berger Architecture to design the new 11,000 square feet space.
