David Drummond making serious paper without being in entertainment

Google's vice president, Corporate Development David Drummond has sold 40,100 shares of Google stock at $313.95 to $319.69 for a gain of $12.7 million, which brings his total income from stock sales to $103.6 million since the company went public in August 2004. Drummond and other top executives have been slowly divesting portions of their stock holdings over the past year.

Drummond who also serves as Google's general counsel was first introduced to the company in 1998 as Google's first outside counsel, and worked with Larry Page and Sergey Brin to incorporate the company and secure its initial rounds of financing.
