Black Book Publisher Signs Japanese Licensing Deal

The deal was negotiated by Tony Rose, Publisher and CEO of Amber Communications Group, Lori Zajkowski, Foreign Rights Manager and Translator, Toppan Printing Company America, Inc. and Hiroshi Sano, Publisher/CEO, Transworld Japan Inc., Tokyo, Japan.

Amber Communications Group is one of the few Independent African American Publishing Companies to have a Co-Publishing and Imprint deal with a major U.S. Publisher. To date, the deal between John Wiley & Sons, Inc. and Amber Communications Group  includes seven bestselling titles, including Wavy, Curly, Kinky...Fun Ways to Take Care of Your Child's Hair...The African American Children's Hair Care Guide (ISBN# 0-471-69534-3) by Deborah Lilly.

In addition to ACGI's recent Japanese agreement, ACGI is also in negotiations with a major Chinese Publisher for several titles including MICHAEL JACKSON: KING OF POP (ISBN# 0-9749779-0-X and ALICIA, ASHANTI, BEYONCE, DESTINY'S CHILD, JENNIFER LOPEZ and MYA: DIVAS OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM(ISBN# 0-9749779-6-9 for publication in China.

Amber Communications Group now has partnerships in the United States, Europe, South Africa and Asia.
